Oasis.app partners with Latamex to allow worldwide users to buy Dai
Oasis.app is the next generation user interface on the Ethereum blockchain that allows users to buy, send and manage their Dai in the simplest way.
Today the Maker Foundation announced a major update to Oasis.app, which is now live. Users can now buy Dai in over 100 countries around the world, including Latin America, thanks to a new partnership with Latamex: a fiat on and off ramp gateway powered by Settle Network.
Buying and managing Dai is now easier than ever as the redesigned app requires no hardware wallets, downloads or extensions to get started: users only need an email address and a link to get logged in quickly and smoothly. Now there is no need to remember account details or go looking for passwords or seed phrases, and it can also be used on mobile devices. The new version of Oasis.app is the home for everything people want to accomplish with Dai.
“Over the last 6 months, the Oasis team at the Maker Foundation has been working hard to make Dai more accessible, usable and simpler to understand: today’s launch brings us much closer to that”, stated Chris Bradbury, Product Lead at Oasis.app. “Dai is the future of currency, with more than 161.4M Dai in daily trade volume, and Oasis.app is built to make using it easy. We’ve outgrown the original version and taken a look at which features are working for people and where we can evolve”, he added.
“Oasis.app partnered with us with the goal of improving their user experience and we are very happy to help them reach such an important milestone. This partnership will enable more people to own and trade Dai in an easier way, which will bring the currency even closer to mass adoption”, stated Pablo Orlando, CEO of Settle Network.
To celebrate this partnership, the first 500 people from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico who buy Dai with Latamex on Oasis.app will receive $30 in ETH to pay for their transaction fees. The ETH will be provided over 3 months to the first 500 users who buy Dai in Oasis.app through Latamex. To learn more, you can read the blog post on oasis.app here.
